FIRING PIN REMOVAL TOOL

The Brownells Firing Pin Removal Tool acts as a third hand for removing the firing pin from Remington and Ruger® bolt action rifles without lost parts or sore fingers. Install the correct bushing for your rifle in the end of the tool body. Screw the firing pin assembly into the bushing, and tighten the threaded, steel shank to compress and capture the mainspring. The hollow shank protects the firing pin tip as it slides over the pin to compress the spring. Once compressed, the cross pin can then be driven out with a punch, and the spring tension relieved by gradually loosening the shank. Please note, these WILL NOT FIT Ruger left-handed actions.


Fits: Remington 700, 710, 721, 722, Model Seven, XP-100, M24, and 40X; Ruger® M77® Mark II, 77/22®, 77/17®, 77/44® bolt action rifles.
