What is the BORE TECH - 16 oz. Cu+2 Copper Remover?

Environmentally safe, ammonia-free formula works fast to breakdown and dissolve all traces of copper fouling caused by high-velocity, jacketed bullets commonly used in hunting and competition guns. Contains an enhanced binding agent that acts like a magnet to attract the dissolved copper, keeping it from re-depositing and allowing complete removal. Repeated use conditions the bore to help prevent future copper buildup, plus works like a rust preventative to shield and protect the metal from corrosion. Non-hazardous, biodegradable, odorless, and petroleum free. Safe to use on steel, stainless steel, and lined barrels.

SPECS: 4 fl. oz. (118 ml) squeeze bottle or 16 fl. oz. (473 ml) plastic bottle.

Bore Tech Cu+2
I had been using Hoppe's #9 Copper Fouling remover and Hoppe's #9 Black brand copper fouling remover to try and clean a fouled M1 Garand barrel, but the Hoppe's wasn't getting the job done. I saw a review of this product, and ordered it. It worked great. It shows a blue patch if there is copper fouling still in the barrel and you just keep cleaning until the patch comes out white. It helped turned a gray bore shiny again.
Would you recommend this? Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Great Product
This copper solvent works very well and quite fast! I have used a lot of copper removers over the years and this one has worked the best for me. I especially like that it doesn’t have strong fumes. The smell is pleasant. I will be ordering this again.

Good product
Saw this being used on “ the real gunsmith “ and thought I’d give it a try. Product does a great job of pulling copper out of the barrel. Good stuff !

Bore Tech Cu+ remover
This product works very well. I was surprised at how much of copper came out from the first patch. It took less time to clean out the copper compared to other products. Highly Recommended.

THE BEST FOR COPPER
I agree with the other reviewers; this stuff is great! Like fatheringil, I also have tested this against other copper cleaners. When I used this first, the others showed ZERO blue/green on the patch. When I used each one of the others first, the BORE TECH showed blue/green on the dry patch, indicating that the BORE TECH removed copper fouling that the others left. Each solvent was applied with a cotton patch, using an aluminum jag and a stainless steel rod, and left for ten minutes. Between each solvent, the barrels were neutralized with Birchwood Casey Synthetic-Safe spray on three wet patches, followed by two dry patches. Then the second solvent was applied. Each test was performed after approximately 1,000 rounds of .223. Also, there is no ammonia! Therefore: 1) it doesn't stink 2) it is safe to leave in the barrel overnight or longer. When I get home from a varmint hunt, I patch my barrels with this stuff and just leave them alone while I unpack, go to work, etc. It does all the work so I don't have to!
