Great little accessory that's also affordable
This patch holder from Hoppe's is one of those items that doesn't cost much and you don't think about it much at all, up until it time to run a patch down your bore. At that time, this item is worth its weight in gold. Nothing fancy or complicated about it - it just does its intended job well (and its polymer construction ensures that it will not damage your barrel at all. Definitely a "Must Buy" for any gun enthusiast's cleaning kit.

Fair Product
OK tip. Have used these for years, and find after a while they usually break. Easy to unscrew the stub from cleaning rod, but I believe sign of poor construction. I only use plastic tips when using small patches which I liberally soak with solvent. This eliminates the small chance of a harder tip hitting the bore. After that I use a jag or pellets.
