After extensive torture testing, Short Action Customs manufactured wrench bodies out of 4140 Alloy Steel with a super hard heat treat. With their unique modified 3/8″ square drive interface is tool-less and offers super quick wrench head changes. On the back end, Short Action Customs have a standard 5/8″ Hex to work with any standard 6 point or 12 point socket. With a nominal .685″ body diameter, it works with a large array of actions.

They have thoroughly tested the wrench bodies, and they are capable of handling impressive torque values. However they guarantee the wrench’s to handle 125 ft/lbs. Of torque. Torqueing above 125 ft/lbs. Will void your warranty on the wrench body and the wrench heads. The wrench heads are softer than most actions, they will get normal wear and tear, however if any break or crack, they will replace them at no charge. When attempting to remove a factory action such as a tikka or remington model 700. They recommend having the action removed by a qualified gunsmith. If you break your modular action wrench body while removing a factory action they are not covered under warranty.
