New Products: Brownells BRN-4, Geissele, Bravo Company & Lone Wolf

Our man with the inside scoop on new products at Brownells is back! Paul Levy has a whole pile of exciting goodies to show us, starting with the new Brownells BRN-4 components. These parts are compatible with the Heckler & Koch HK416 platform. If you have some surplus HK416 or MR-556 parts, you can supplement them with BRN-4 parts to build up a complete rifle or an SBR (subject to NFA rules), like the one Paul is holding here. The BRN-4 upper receiver is compatible with a standard "mil-spec" AR-15 lower, and you can also get a BRN-4 barrel, gas block, op rod, and bolt-carrier group. BRN-4 barrels are available in several lengths, with a medium or heavy profile.

 

The perfect addition to a BRN-4 rifle is Geissele's HK416 handguard with lotsa M-LOK® slots and a Picatinny rail on top. QD sling swivel sockets on both sides are reinforced with steel inserts so you won't wear out the socket. Geissele offers their HK416 "rail" in standard black and their special Desert Dirt Color (DDC), which is kind of a metallic flat dark earth with hints of copper. Super easy to install on your HK416, BRN-4, or H&K MR-556. An index tab on the top of Geissele's rail matches a cut in the top of HK416 and BRN-4 upper receivers, so once it's installed, this handguard isn't gonna rotate.

 

The new Brownells line of slim, lightweight AR-15 barrels is available with a tough black Nitride finish or traditional phosphate Parkerizing with a chrome-lined bore. All the high-quality barrel features you want: 4150 chrome-moly steel, ½"-28 tpi muzzle threads, barrel extension with M4 feed ramps, several popular lengths, AND a great price.

 

Bravo Company's Intermediate AR-15 buffer system has a recoil buffer that's between the length of the standard carbine and rifle buffers. It's paired with a rifle-length buffer spring. The benefit to YOU, the shooter, is a pleasanter shooting experience without sacrificing the big R - reliability! The heavier buffer and spring smooth out the recoil impulse and help prevent carrier bounce. BCM offers multiple buffer weights, so you can fine-tune your system.

 

Also new from Brownells: small parts completion kits for Glock® slides. The initial release includes kits for Glock models 17, 19, 26 and 43. G17 and G19 kits are available for both Gen3 and Gen5 guns. Get the bare slide, barrel, and sights or optic you want, and these kits let you assemble a complete slide ready to install on your Glock's factory frame or....

 

..... a serialized frame from Lone Wolf. These ergonomically upgraded frames are available in black and gray for a variety of Glock® models, both stripped or complete with all internal parts installed. These frames are FFL items, so they have to be shipped to a federally licensed firearm dealer, just like a complete gun.
