The SMC Plate Carrier from Grey Ghost Gear brings you all the design features and functionality you would expect from a carrier that was two years in the making. Want to customize your carrier for the task at hand? YKK zippers and webbing on the back panel work flawlessly with the SMC zippered back panels, so no matter what the next mission holds, you’re prepared. The SMC Plate Carrier (Shoot, Move, Communicate) doesn’t sacrifice comfort for performance. You’ll stay comfortable thanks to the breathable mesh and padding, as well as the strategically placed channels for airflow and moisture wicking. The Grey Ghost Gear SMC Plate Carrier even put lasers to use to heat seal the edges to prevent fraying. You can put this carrier into service in black, coyote, or multicam, whichever suits you best.

Includes two (2) RMA Level IV Single-Curve Armor Plates (#1155's) takes body armor to the next level, providing wearers with the ability to survive impacts from high-velocity rifle rounds up to and including the .30-06 M2AP round. To provide this protection, the armor is built with a monolithic ceramic/polyethylene material, which measures 1 inch thick and weighs in at 8.3 pounds each. Each RMA Armament Level IV Single-Curve Armor Plate is NIJ 0101.06-certified and features a 600-Denier, water-resistant cover to protect it from the elements. The plates are made in the USA at the company's Centerville, IA, facility.
