The Eberlestock Gunslinger II Pack comes equipped with a scabbard that accommodates firearms with larger optics and can work as a solid laptop or radio storage space for those not hiking a firearm for hunting or combat. The pack is also built on the company's Intex-II frame design, which blends the benefits of both internal and external frames for an ideal support solution.

A real game changer for me

16 inch barreled AR15 with a Surefire suppressor adapter. LAW folding stock. It sits proud by around 4 inches with the stock folded. The top cover can be folded over in such a way to protect the firearm from the elements. The compartment has sufficient room to carry my Lucky Duck E caller and my drone with spare batteries, supplies and such. It is a tight/compact fit that stays secure, and minimizes extra mass. I Really love this company.

Solid Pack

Overall its a bullet proof pack. I carried one while on a tactical unit for about 6 years. Construction is top notch. The only downer to this set up is the load pack sits on top of the rifle scabbard when carried together. Typically the load pack would shift back and forth over the loaded scabbard. Sort of a pain when youre climbing over fences, climbing ladders and the like. It was great to shoot off of and everthing was pretty accessible.

Way, WAY too "heavy" empty ... sent it back

The bag -- while nice -- is simply TOO HEAVY even when empty for the AR application I'd planned ... it more than doubles the total weight and that's not what I was looking for ... If I wanted to go 15 lbs, I'd pack a Browning BAR ...
