New Product: Brownells Armorer's Tool Case

Our new product guru Paul Levy has something exciting to show us - the Brownells Armorer's Tool Case Gen III. This sturdy, portable chest can hold a lot of your armorer / gunsmithing tools, and it's ready to go wherever you go! The robust reinforced hard-polymer shell is built to take a pummeling and leave the tools inside unscathed. This case weighs about 21 lbs., so the sturdy carry handles on each end make it easy for two folks to work together to heft it when it's fully loaded. If you're going solo, rollers on the bottom and an extendable, luggage-style handle make it easy for you to steer your case wherever you need it to go.

 

Four sturdy latches secure the lid, and all the latches are recessed to protect them from impact. Three padlock loop holes give you the option to lock your case for maximum security. On the inside of the lid, there's a compartment behind a transparent, swing-down panel to hold paperwork and documents. The top compartment contains a roomy lift-out top tray for your most commonly used tools. BONUS: the lid is removable, so you can take it clean off and have unimpeded access to what's in the top compartment.

 

Release the four latches on the tool case's front panel and swing the panel down for access to the FIVE tool drawers. The front panel can also be removed, so if you're working on a long project, you can have unimpeded access to the drawers. A locking mechanism keeps you from accidentally pulling the drawers out all the way out and spilling the tools. If you want to remove a drawer, hit the bright orange release levers and it out to take it wherever you need it. Both the front panel and the lid are rubber-gasket-sealed to keep water out.

 

The drawers come with configurable foam inserts that you can easily customize to hold your tools. You can also buy your armorer's tool case without the foam.... and if you decide later on you want the foam inserts, they are available separately.
