Hornady's Micrometer is capable of providing the incredibly accurate measurements demanded by modern reloaders. The Hornady Micrometer can measure object diameters of up to an inch with an accuracy of 0.0001-inch increments. Each micrometer is equipped with a ratchet-stop mechanism that allows users to place uniform, consistent pressure on the object being measured, ensuring that measurements are repeatable and consistent. After measuring, a spindle lock allows users to remove the micrometer to take a look at the preserved measurement. Each Hornady Micrometer is finished with a baked-enamel coating and features a strong, durable, C-frame design. The micrometer ships with a protective, plastic hard case.
